Our team
Natalie Gamble
Natalie is known internationally, not only as the UK's leading fertility lawyer but also for her gentle tenacity which has enabled much needed changes in the UK legal system. Inspired by the lack of legal advice available when she built her own donor-conceived family in 2001, Natalie was the first solicitor to pioneer fertility law in the UK.
A passionate champion of same-sex parents and fertility patients, Natalie has made law in Parliament (see our campaigning page) and in court (see our leading fertility law cases). She has been quoted in Parliament and was named in the Independent on Sunday's Pink List as one of the 100 most influential gay people in the UK. In 2010 she was invited to meet the Prime Minister at a 10 Downing Street reception in recognition of her work. Natalie has been nominated for the Stonewall Hero of the Year Award, and named as the Times Lawyer of the Week. She is frequently interviewed on the Today Programme and Woman's Hour, and is regularly quoted in the national press including writing for the Guardian (see our media page). She is a former member of the Board of Trustees of Infertility Network UK, and currently sits as a member of the HFEA's Expert Oversight Group on mitochondrial disease.
